Who we are
Jacquie Beaton (HND, PGCert) has worked in mental health services for many years
and over this time, working primarily for the NHS, she has accrued a wealth of
expertise across a vast range of mental health problems. Having recently trained in
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with University of the West of Scotland, she marries her
skills in working therapeutically with an ability to deliver specific CBT interventions in a
manner that is accessible and meaningful to her clients.
Jacquie is described as open, approachable, and highly skilled in helping individuals.
Fiona Blunsden (PGDip, PGCert, PGDip) has many years of experience under her belt, a
background in learning, education and guidance prior to her current clinical work, and
training in art therapy and traditional CBT with Queen Margaret University.
With this combination of training and experience, she works within a collaborative
therapeutic model helping individuals to resolve problems that are determined by
them, in ways that are meaningful to them. Her personal passion is for therapies that
promote an interaction between left and right hemispheres of the brain, and that
promote self-compassion and self-care.
As Accredited Members of The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive
Psychotherapies (BABCP) standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics are strictly
adhered to. Details of these can be found on the BABCP website.
